Tango

Generational struggles. Futile attempts to control the chaos of the world. The drama by Sławomir Mrożek gives voice to human hearts and their wild nature.

Jerzy Jarocki’s rendition of Tango is imbued with bitterness. The characters feel lost in their freedom. Their minds are full of confusion and anarchy, which turns out to be both sad and funny. Everybody loses, but Arthur, a rebel intellectual who seeks salvation in despotism, fails the most. Tango of the 21st century is ferocious, violent and tragic.
