The play contains excerpts from III act of Stanisław Wyspiański's The Return of Odysseus.
The actors of the National Theatre sang a fragment of Dante's Divine Comedy, as well as a fragment of Josif Brodsky's poem Nature Morte translated by Stanisław Barańczak together with a fragment of the poem Verrà la morte e avrà i tuoi occhi (Death Will Come and Will Have Your Eyes) by Cesare Pavese, quoted by Brodsky.
