"To be honest, theatre, in general, is absurd, but to be honest… There's nothing you can do at all except kill yourself. … Well, since we haven't killed ourselves so far, we're still trying to keep making theatre… even if it is all completely absurd and false" – says actor Bruscon, the main hero of The Theatre Maker. Together with his family, he comes to the town to give a performance at the local tavern – but as a result, he makes a performance of himself.
